Basics to Buy From American Apparel’s Epic Goodbye Sale

Oh my, oh my! American Apparel, the sweatshop-free made in America store, is closing its doors forever. And American Apparel is right now running an epic sale with everything 40% off (including already reduced prices) and some sale items in the Factory Store that are ridiculously cheap. As the law of finders keepers prevails, skip the lines and shop directly online these 5 basics that you must have in your wardrobe before they’re gone forever.

1. Bodysuits

Although the most popular models are gone for good, I found this cotton spandex deep V cutout bodysuit reduced to a mere $15. It’s still available in sizes M-L in black and red. RUN!

2. Catsuits

Whether you’re an accomplished dancer or a Zumba project, catsuits are the most comfortable workout clothes ever. This gorrrgeous cotton spandex jersey unitard number can also be paired up with a skirt for a quick and fun winter look. Use code TAKE40 to get an excellent price ($24 after the rebate) before they fly off the e-shelves.

3. A Dressy Jumpsuit

A jumpsuit is like a little black dress: If you find the perfect style, it can take you from the office to a party just by accessorizing it correctly. I just spotted these two jumpsuits in the American Apparel Goodbye Sale that scream my name. Not to mention that the Parisian print costs less than a cuppa! $5 is honestly a steal for such a gorgeous design. I have just clicked the buy button… The code TAKE40 can be used on the Harper Wide Leg Jumpsuit. Yeah, you can thank me later.

4. Basics, LBD, and Skater Dresses by American Apparel

Seriously, ladies, all these basic American Apparel dressed are reduced to $15 bucks a pop in their Goodbye sale. Taking into account the excellent quality of the fabric, they are gonna last FOREVER, plus these styles are never out of fashion. Grab ’em while you can!

5. Something A Lil’ Crazy

What I like most about American Apparel is that they have a wise mix of really nice basics with some really crazy stuff. Don’t miss your chance to grab some 90’s jelly shoes or an Americana bodysuit. For the ridiculous prices that I’ve found at their Factory Store, it’s a crime to let some of these things go by.

After a few financial hiccups, the Canadian firm that has purchased the brand has zero interest in keeping its retail business. In a few weeks, we’ll all bid farewell to some of the highest-quality basics that we have ever owned.

Although this American Apparel big clearance sale is much appreciated by yours truly, it makes me very sad to see that a great company that supports sweatshop-free fashion made in the USA is closing its door forever. If you really want to see a change in this society, you have the option to vote with your dollars. Now that American Apparel is gone, I strongly suggest that you take a look at other made in the USA brands to support your local economy and create much-needed jobs.

American Apparel, you’re gonna be sorely missed!
